ClassicStartMenu.exe - Classic Shell. ProcessHacker.exe - The tool that enumerates the processes shown above. ShellFolderFixUI.exe - A handy accessory that pre-positions File Explorer windows. TSVNCache.exe - Tortoise SVN (a software development tool). Vmtoolsd.exe (2 processes) - A necessary part of running Win 10 in a VMware virtual machine. Lsm.exe 496 2,476 K 3,512 K Local Session Manager Service Microsoft Corporation WmiPrvSE.exe 1984 2,440 K 5,696 K WMI Provider Host Microsoft Corporation COCIManager.exe 2804 2,204 K 5,184 K Camera Control Interface Logitech Inc. If you are having problems with your outdated version of TortoiseSVN, and your TSVNCache.exe process comes back to life too after you kill it, or if you just feel uncomfortable about killing processes or downloading another program, try what I did: Rather than deleting everything from the root folder, start from deleting by little pieces. If you encounter difficulties with TSVNCache.exe, you can uninstall the associated program (Start Control Panel Add/Remove programs What can you do to fix TSVNCache.exe? Let try to run a system scan with Speed Up My PC to see any error, then you can do some other troubleshooting steps.

Just to compare: my TSVNCache.exe now uses 32040kB (working set) and
106284kB (virtual size), running for 5 hours on Vista Ultimate. And I
have five TSVN working copies (trunk, some branches and two tags), two
working copies from Subversion and about 20 other working copies from
other different projects.

Before I left work today, I also checked the TSVNCache memory use there.
It was around the same as I have it here, but there it was running for 9
hours on XP SP3 with even more working copies lying around.

What operations do you often do with your explorer? Do you often remove
working copies? Do you often use the file-open dialog in other
applications (which might not close down correctly)? How many working
copies do you have and how big are those?
